Insurance

• I am considered an out-of-network provider for ALL insurance companies. While I do not bill your insurance directly, you may still be eligible for partial reimbursement for our sessions depending on your coverage. Additionally, you might be able to use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover the costs. However, it’s always a good idea to check with your HSA or FSA administrator to confirm that services from a licensed associate counselor are eligible expenses under your specific plan. I am happy to provide you with a monthly Superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many insurance companies will reimburse clients for services rendered with a Superbill. However, it is highly recommended that you contact your insurance carrier directly to determine if they will cover a portion of my counseling costs as an out-of-network provider.

Good Faith Estimate

• You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. As services provided by Leaf and Light Therapy do not take insurance you will automatically receive an estimate of psychotherapy services. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
